Tips:
1. Check and correct the injection pressure: First, place the injector on the injector pressure tester. Before testing, make sure that the injector is firmly connected. When pressing the instrument handle, there is no sound of air leakage, otherwise it means that the installation is not good and there is oil leakage. The injection pressure of the injector refers to the pressure on the instrument when the injector starts to spray oil, which is usually greater than 20MPa. If the opening pressure is less than this value, it means that there is a leak inside the injector, and it can be disassembled and repaired first.
Then look at the holding pressure of the injector after injection. The pressure should remain unchanged for 30 seconds, otherwise the injector will be damaged. During the injection process of the injector, it is also necessary to check whether the injector can spray diesel into the atomized oil beam at the specified pressure.
If the injector pressure does not meet the requirements, it will seriously affect the working state of the engine. The pressure of the mechanical injector is corrected by the tightness of the pressure adjustment screw, which can be seen by opening the pressure adjustment nut.
If the pressure is too low, it will slow down the injection speed of the injector and reduce the atomization cone angle, resulting in the dripping phenomenon of diesel atomization. At the same time, it will increase the amount of fuel injection, advance the injection time, delay the injection time, and lead to incomplete combustion, black smoke from the exhaust, and carbon deposits.
If the pressure is too high, it will cause a large amount of fuel injection pressure relief, shorten the injection time, accelerate the wear of parts, and inject more fuel than usual, which will also cause waste.
2. Detection of injection advance angle: The injection advance angle refers to the angle of rotation of the crankshaft corresponding to the piston turning to the top dead center when the injector opens the needle valve to spray fuel. The fuel injection advance angle is slower than the fuel supply advance angle, generally less than 8° crank angle. The measurement of the injection advance angle is carried out on the injection pump test bench. Without this equipment, the injection pressure of the injector can be detected.
Summary: The correction of the injection pressure of the automobile injector is adjusted by the tightness of the pressure adjustment screw on the injector. If the pressure does not meet the standard value, you can first disassemble the injector and clean it to see if there is carbon deposit and wear on the needle valve and oil circuit inside.
